Dear Friends, I am exhausted from climbing all of those hills with you.
You can be very proud of yourselves . You have climbed many mountains and forged many streams, as Julie Andrews would sing .
I pray for continued safe travel for you two.. You will never forget all of this experience of beauty and of adventure; and of taking time out to taste and to see another part of the world. Not many people take the time to make something like this happen. YOU are pioneers. There is much prayer going up for you from your family and friends. Much admiration , Betty Kehde

“I knew this was wishful thinking - there were no trees, it was noon, he was dreaming.”
Welcome to Jamie’s World!
Oh my Sarah! You were suffering from heat stroke and exhaustion.
“You poor bastard. What on earth were you thinking?”
Please let us know the name and location of one of these “Healing Streams”. I think we could bottle this stuff, sell it on the Internet and make a killing. I’ll bet you wouldn’t even throw this stuff up when suffering from heat exhaustion.
All in all one of the better stories you have posted. Your experiences and writing skills are continually improving. Keep it up.
Peace & Love,
Pops

Wow, I love this except, "We pulled into a holiday park on the edge of town and hung out in the kitchen all night eavesdropping on a pathological liar who was telling a fellow hiker of his multiple 100ft falls from mountain cliffs without injury. After such a fall, he would just find the nearest cold mountain stream and let its waters “heal” him. Yeah right! Welcome to Queenstown.

Hilarious.
